Huh? Oh yah? Uh huh. Oh yaaah!

Having financial problems, a car salesman hires two henchmen to kidnap his wife for a ransom to be payed by his wealthy father-in-law. What was supposed to be an easy plan, falls apart after three innocent people were killed and because of the persistent investigation of Brainerd police chief Marge Gunderson. The poster shows Marge Gunderson’s police hat as well as the repetitive Oh Yah? said in the film with this typical Upper Midwest accent. A red blood pool and blood splatter remind the killings. The frosty white and light blue background symbolizes the snowy and bleak landscape of the region. A discreet line on the lower left reads: by Joel and Ethan. Various mixed vector techniques and grunge have been used to give the artwork a cool vintage look.

Inspired by the 1996 movie Fargo by Joel and Ethan Coen.
Quote: And for what?… For a little bit of money. – Marge Gunderson
