High above its towers stand

In 1988, a nuclear explosion destroys Tokyo and starts World War III. By 2019, a new city called Neo Tokyo has been built on a landfill in Tokyo Bay, but is gripped by terrorism and gang violence. The artwork shows the fictional illustration of the post-apocalyptic Neo Tokyo during a snow storm. The city’s name Neo Tokyo stands in bold white letters together with the black Japanese signs on top of this cool artwork. A mix of vector and brush techniques have been used to make this a must have for all manga and anime film fans.

Inspired by Katsuhiro Otomo’s 1988 anime movie and manga Akira.
Quote: The future is not a straight line. It is filled with many crossroads. There must be a future that we can choose for ourselves. – Kiyoko
