Au Revoir vs. Reservoir

Reservoir, from the French word ‘réservoir’ is originally a noun referring to a place where large amounts of water get stored. Au Revoir comes also from French and means Good Bye. The illustration is an allusion to the movie Reservoir Dogs by Quentin Tarantino. It shows six funny coloured balloon dogs, representing the six main characters with the code names Mr. Pink, Mr. White, Mr. Brown, Mr. Orange, Mr. Blonde and Mr. Blue. The artificial dogs wear the respective colours of the gang members. One of them, the orange dog, is injured and bleeding like Mr. Orange in the movie. Probably due to the needle that lies discreetly beside the poster title. Au Revoir Dogs is a play on words between ‘reservoir’ and ‘au revoir’. For all movie enthusiasts or those who simply love balloon dogs.
